Day 1: Yerevan
Today we would like to make the guests amazed and along with it happy with the tour they are going to start in Armenia. And in the very beginning you arrive at the airport and are taken to the city known as the capital, Yerevan. This city is rather interesting as located at the heights of 900 to 1300 m, in the north east of the Ararat plain. At the same time the exquisiteness is seen in the being surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains. For many years since our days it has been considered as the scientific and cultural center of the country, being created in the 8th century BC. Of course dinner is offered in the local restaurant where you can listen to national music. Hotel then is offered for the night.
Day 2: Yerevan - Echmiadzin - Yerevan
It is required to start the tour still in the capital of the country, as we are going to get closer the notions of various corners of it. So, as the sightseeing trip begins, we get to see the observation deck of Victory Park first so that then the route is made to the museum under the open air, the Cascade. Then the trip is made to the Opera and Ballet Theater and Sergei Parajanov Museum. After it our guests are invited for driving to Echmiadzin city, one of the extremely religious center of whole Armenia. Here the Church of St. Hripsime (7th century) and the Mother See Cathedral of St. Echmiadzin are located and required for seeing in the course of the trip. As the way is made, we are going to get to see the Machanents Creative Center, where lunch is served and rest is offered. Having had short rest the group starts for the location where the works of the famous sculptor Kochar - Sasuntsi David are exhibited. The "Megerian Carpet" factory is also highly required for visiting, as it has carpets of 400 years old. Then at last we arrive for the capital, where have a walk along the Northern Avenue and the Republic Square where singing fountains are placed. Guests have night in the hotel.
Day 3: Yerevan - Goris
Your day begins with breakfast and then goes to the tour along the Ararat valley, leading to the Khor Virap monastery. This is the location gaining great history being close to the times of the adoption of Christianity. And it is considered to happen in the 4th century. The way of your today is aimed at seeing of Areni village, placed at the Vayots Dzor region famous for being the winemaking one. The winemaking deal is famous here for about 6000 years old, the proofs to which were found in the cave about September 2008. Going on, we arrive for the 13th century Noravank monastery, which is located in the very gorge, landscapes of which are impossible to be expressed. Then we offer lunch, rest and start for Goris. This is the place where night is organized in the hotel after the walking excursion along surroundings.
Day 4: Goris - Yeghegis
As we are in Goris, guests have breakfast and then get to see the famous and well known Zorats Karer (Karahunj). This is identified to be the historical location, being important from the architectural point of view. Here there are ancient megalithic structures and giant red-brown monoliths at the heights of 1770m. The Karahunj location is known to be the observatory of the 6th millennium BC. That is why we can notice the wall with the holes depicting the stars on the 7.5 thousand years ago sky. As then the route to Tatev is made, we are able to feel the beauty of the treasure of the country and ancient architecture. At the same time it is popular for the longest cable car being placed at the Vorotan gorge, 320 meters deep. After we offer lunch and the trip to Yeghegis, where hotel is reserved for night.
Day 5: Yeghegis - Sevan lake - Dilijan
The present day guests get to the Selim Pass, based at the height of 2500m. It is seen as the destination of unforgettable views opening the sights for the locals and the foreigners. This is going to be the tour in Armenia aimed at seeing the Lake Sevan. It is known to be the treasure of the country, at the height of 1900m. Moreover, it is the highest lake being the freshwater one. Such places as Ayrivank and Noradus Monasteries are visited then, after it we have lunch in Tsaghkunk. And finally the road leads us to the Sevanavank Monastery, created in 874, by Princess Mariam. The peculiarity is seen in the peninsula location, with the views of the lake of great beauty, which is located in the center of the mountains. Then the guests get to the resort town of Dilijan where nature is pristine, air is clean and views are stunning. In the evening invitees take the walk along this city of the 19th century and have night in the local hotel.
Day 6: Dilijan - Gyumri
You have a chance to start the day with coffee and then investigate the surroundings of the Lori region. This region is famous for the medieval monasteries Sanahin and Haghpat, being the UNESCO World Heritage List locations. They are also seen as the greatest centers of science and education, starting from the past times. At the same time the beauty of the region is going to be perceived with the views of canyons, Debed River and small villages. Lunch is offered in the Kefoe restaurant where travelers can try traditional food. The route to Gyumri is made then and we are going to view this city claiming to be the second largest one in Armenia. Here the most famous sites are five churches, a monastery and an Orthodox chapel, the Amenaprkich Church (Church of the Savior). Night is taken in the hotel, after lunch served in the Gvug gastro-yard.
Day 7: Gyumri - Yerevan
From Gyumri our group goes to see the amazes of Sev Berd, the Museum of Crafts and Frunzik Mkrtchyan. After it lunch is offered in the Cherkezi Dzor restaurant so that later the greatness of the route to the capital is seen. It is going to be the passing of the Mount Aragats and the Saghmosavank Monastery (Psalm Monastery) being placed at the gorge of the Kasakh River. Pay attention to the local monument created in honor of celebration of the 1600th anniversary of the alphabet creation. It was erected here in 2005. So later we get to the hotel of the capital for the night.
Day 8: Yerevan - Garni - Yerevan
It is the day devoted to the views of the fantastic canyon of the Azat River to be seen. The location of the follows, Geghard monastery is known to be created in the 13th century. It is said to be the UNESCO World Heritage Site, serving the idea of uniqueness. The trip later is made to the Garni village famous for the Symphony of Stones and a pagan temple, created in the Hellenistic style. At the same time it is known to be created in 77 AD which makes it more unique. Guests have lunch at a local resident's house and then arrive for the Yerevan Brandy Factory and ARARAT Museum. Night is offered in the local hotel.
Day 9: Flight
