Name of tour: Gorges of Kyrgyz land
Itinerary duration: 8 days/ 7 nights
Day 1: Bishkek
Your guide will met you in the airport and accompany you to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek. The day will be dedicated to a walking city tour. There are many locations such as the central and the victory square, museum of arts and other interesting locations. The end of the tour will bring you to the bazaar in order to let you feel the atmosphere and see the riches of the local traders. In the end of the day you will be brought to the hotel for the night.
Day 2: Bishkek - Alamedin gorge - Bishkek
Following day you will be brought to the Alamedin gorge. A short hike will lead you to the waterfall, on your way there you will be able to enjoy the view of the fir trees, cattle and the nomad atmosphere that is given to the location by the yurts - the dwellings of the locals. Near the waterfall, you will be able to have a small picnic before returning back to the hotel.
Day 3: Bishkek - Konorchek - Chon Kemin
This day the tour will take you to the Konorchek canyons which are located in the Boom gorge. The canyons are made out of red rock and you will have to walk the two hour hike there which will get you to the point from which you may take great photos of the panoramic view of the canyons. You may spend one more hour in order to walk around and take more pictures there if you will not feel tire. You will then continue towards Chon Kemin in order to spend the night there in the guesthouse.
Day 4: Chon Kemin - Issyk Kul lake northern shore
The next day, you will travel farther to the lake. The Pearl of Kyrgyzstan is the second largest celestial lake in the world. Due to its size and other interesting features, the lake is surrouded with different wonderful legends. You will stop by a collection of rocks that are covered with petroglyphs. They date back to 800BC and are placed exactly where they were placed since the beginning of the time. In the evening you will be taken to the hotel by the lake.
Day 5: Issyk Kul - Grigorievskoye - Semenovskoye - Karakol
The following morning, you will continue your tour. First of all there will be a stop either in Grigorievskoye or Semenovskoye gorges because they are linked together thus you will be going into one and coming out from the other one. You will then continue to the Karakol city. There you will see two buildings such as the Russian Orthodox church which is made out of wood and the Dungan mosque which was built without a single nail. You will spend your night in the hotel.
Day 6: Karakol - Jyrgalan
The next morning you will travel towards the Jyrgalan valley. You will spend your day engaging with the locals in the beautiful fields of the valley. Overall the valley is great for any season, during summer you may relax under the sun in the green scenery, during winter, the snow covered valley allows the lovers of adrenaline to try some free ride on skis or snowboards.
Day 7: Jyrgalan - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Bishkek
In the morning you will be going to the Jeti Oguz gorge. The interesting form of the mountains that are made out of red rocks, remind the viewers of the seven bulls, which was how the gorge has got its name. A short hike to the top of the mountain in order to see the panoramic view of the bulls. Afterwards, you will be going farther along the southern shore of the lake towards the Bokonbaeva village in order to engage with the local eagle-hunter and to learn a lot about the means of hunt, trainings of the falcons and the traditions that are passed from father to son for ages. You will then continue to the capital. Spend yur night in the hotel there.
Day 8: Airport
In the morning you will be brought to the airport.
