Itinerary duration: 5 days/ 4 nights
Day 1: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
After arrival your guide will meet you at the airport Manas. He will take you to Bishkek to start your travelling. You will start the day with a walking tour which will lead you through the most famous sights of our capital. It includes Central Ala-Too square, Oak Park, Victory square, the National art Museum, the National Philharmonic and many other attractions famous in Kyrgyzstan. The second half of the day is dedicated to Ala Archa gorge. Only 45 km out of the city you will enjoy fir-forested mountain slopes, alpine meadows, and snow covered peaks of the Tien Shan mountain range. At the end of the day you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Issyk Kul northern shore
The meeting with your guide will be at 8 a.m. Your tour continues to Issyk Kul Lake, the pearl of Central Asia and the largest lake in Kyrgyzstan. It is the world's second largest alpine lake, lying at 1609 m. above sea level. Due to salty water there is a belief that lake has curative properties. On the way to Issyk Kul Lake you will visit Burana Tower and an open-air Museum that is part of all tours in the country. You will spend a night at the hotel.
Day 3: Issyk Kul lake - Karakol
After the breakfast at the hotel you will start your trip to Karakol town. On the way you will stop by ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.). These petroglyphs were made more than 2 000 years ago by shamans. Then we continue our way to Karakol along the northern shore of the lake. Upon arrival you will visit Dungan Mosque and an old wooden Orthodox Church famous among travellers. The night is spent in a hotel.
Day 4: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Bishkek
Today we will drive to Jeti Oguz gorge. In Kyrgyz language Jeti Oguz means Seven Bulls, which comes from red sandstone formations reminding the bulls which are included in all tours of the country. If you walk up the mountain, you can get a panoramic view of the gorge. Then we will continue our way to Bokonbaevo village to meet an eagle hunter. A local hunter will show you his birds and tell about falconry in Kyrgyzstan. After, you will arrive to Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.
Day 5: Flight
In the morning you will be transferred to the airport.
