Through the gorges

Name of tour: Through the gorges
Itinerary duration: 6 days/ 5 nights

Day 1: Bishkek
Your guide will met you in the airport and accompany you to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek. Your tour starts with a trip around the city. All of the main historical locations are placed near each other, thus it will be a walking tour. You will be introduced to places such as the Central Square, museum of arts, white house and etc, in the end of the tour you will be taken to the Asian bazaar in order to feel the whole atmosphere of the central Asian trade and take more pictures. In the end of the day you will be returning to the hotel.

Day 2: Bishkek - Alamedin gorge - Bishkek 
Following morning you will be taken to the Alamedin gorge. You will have a short hike towards the waterfall. The views are great there, tall trees grow all around and a massive river flows along your path. You will be able to se the way that the locals live, with the cattle and inside the yurts - the dwellings that they live in. You will then have a picnic by the waterfall before going back to the city.

Day 3: Bishkek - Konorchek - Chon Kemin 
The next day you will travel to Konorchek canyons. Your trip will lay through the Boom gorge. A stop in the Konorchek canyons will let you go on a 2 hour hike, the destination of the hike is the platform for panoramic pictures, if you will not feel tired, you will be able to walk around for an hour and take even more pictures. In the end of the day you will arrive to Chon Kemin in order to spend the night there in a guesthouse.

Day 4: Chon Kemin - Issyk Kul lake northern shore
The following morning you will continue your tour through Kyrgyzstan towards the Issik Kul lake. The Pearl of Kyrgyzstan is the second largest alpine lake in the world. Its sizes and saltiness of water gave birth to many wonderful legends about the lake. You will have a short stop by the collection of stones with petroglyphs that date back to 800BC. You will also be able to have great panoramic view of the lake. You will then be brought to the hotel by the lake.

Day 5:  Issyk Kul - Grigorievskoye - Semenovskoye - Karakol
This day you will travel through the Grigorievskoe gorge, at the end it is linked with the Semenovskoye gorge thus you will pass through the two of them by going in inside one and going out through another. You will see the beautiful views, yurts and you will have a chance to have a break in the gorges. One you are out of the gorges, you will travel forward towards the Karakol city. In the city you will visit an old Dungan mosque, that was built in Chinese theme. After the mosque you will be taken to the tour towards the Orthodox church which is made out of wood. In the end of the day you will be brought to the hotel in order to spend your night there.

Day 6: Karakol - Kegen
In the morning you will be transferred to the Kazakh border.
