Day 2: Murgab - Khorog
You will have a wonderful morning drive to Khorog along Pamir Highway, also called M41 Pamir Tract. This road is considered to be the second highest mountain road after highway of Tibet. The road stretches over mountains and passes on the elevations of more than 4 000 meters above sea level. In course of the tour you will move over Koitezak pass (4 271 m). The almost distant landscape and the rocky mountains of this corner of the world awarded the nature with a unique diversity of wildlife. This area is wealth with common species of wild mammals are Turkestan rat, tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves. Pamirs usually grows a large and strong population of Marco Polo sheep, the largest sheep in the world, with all year round and a great population of the highly endangered snow leopard. Night will be in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Khorog - Kalai Khum
Today in the morning you will departure to Kalai Khum village. The territory of this place consists of high stoned mountains over 6 000 meters and only one road was possible to be structured. The customers have the unique chance to not only admire the beauty of virgin environment passing though the Pamirs, but also get to know how the history of humanity evolved as in the story of creation and know more about the ethnography, history and everyday life of mountain dwellers. En route on the way we will stopover in small settlements to talk with local inhabitants and to see their life. Villages are situated on both sides of the river in narrow mountain valleys. Afgan stony villages and gardens we can overlook on the other side of the river. Night is spent in a home stay.
Day 4: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
Today we are going to head on to Dushanbe. En route we will conclude drive along Afghanistan border. Today the highest top is Shuraba pass (2 267 m). You will be inspired by its unusual mountains - it is Territory of Pamir Mountains. Through long times, the Pamirs have invited the world's greatest explorers - Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. And you also have a possibility to admire of the proud of Tajikistan. You will head on along natural border - Pyanj River. A lot of tourists who have discovered the Pamirs, named this giant mountain system the ocean of white and blue mountains. In the tour you will overlook Norak water reservoir that is named Tajik Sea. Night is in a hotel.
Day 5: Dushanbe
You will a full day city tour with a guide. To be well- oriented in the city first of all you will visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. You will have a chance to take a lot of photos after walk in National park Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Your next destination will be wonderful Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. You should visit Asian bazar if you would like to feel real life. The bazaar includes colorful goods, fruits and vegetables. Today we will see the most attractive places of Dushanbe and you will learn more information and many interesting facts about Tajik people. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 6: Flight
In the morning is transfer to the airport.
