Day 1: Tashkent - Chimgan Mountains - Tashkent
Upon arrival our guide will meet you at the airport of Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan. In the morning you will drive to Chimgan Mountains. You will have a chair lift to reach the top to see Beldersay peak. On the way back there will be stop over at Charvak lake. The second half of the day will be dedicated to Tashkent city tour including Independence square, the local Broadway and Amir Timur square. Amir Timur square is one of the central squares of Tashkent, named in honor of national hero - Amir Timur. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent - Samarkand
After breakfast you will be transferred to railway station for the train ride to Samarkand. Samarkand is situated in the valley of the river Zerafshan. It is the second largest city of Uzbekistan and is of the same age as the city of Babylon or Rome. Today during your sightseeing tours you will visit its most outstanding sights including spectacular Registan square, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Guri Emir Mausoleum and remains of Bibi Khanum Mosque. At the end of the day your transfer will take you to the hotel.
Day 3: Samarkand - Bukhara
You will have a morning train to travel to Bukhara. With more than 140 architectural monuments it is a town-museum dating back Middle Ages and one of the famous in Uzbekistan. We will visit the ancient Ark Citadel dating back to the 4th century, which served as a palace for several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Samanids mausoleum, a real masterpiece of architecture of 9th -10th century. Chashma Ayub and Bolo-Hauz mosque, known also as the mosque of forty columns built in honor of Bukhara governor Abu-Fayud Khan. Nodir Divan Begi madrasahs which is also a part of Lyabi House Ensembl. The tour will end with visiting Poi Kalon complex consisting of three structures: Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Bukhara
Today you will continue the sightseeing tour of Bukhara, in the holiest city of Uzbekistan. We will start with Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex. It is a memorial complex of famous Sufi Leader and Philosopher. Sheikh Bakhauddin Nakshbandi was Amir Timurs spiritual master. The complex consists of Kushbegi and Muzafarohana mosques, courtyard, madrasah, and burial vault of Bukhara rulers and tomb of Saint Bakhauddin Nakshbandi. Then you will drive to Sitorai Mohi Hosa complex, named after young wife of Bukhara Emir, after her death. The palace is the combination of various architectural styles. You will travel to Sumiton village to visit Chor Bakr memorial complex, the town of the dead. After excursion you will be transferred to the hotel
Day 5: Bukhara - Khiva
In the morning we will start our travel to Khiva, one of the most ancient in Uzbekistan. The history of Khiva is inseparable with the legendary Khorezmshahs State. For centuries it was a major trading center on the Silk Road. The historic sites have been so well preserved that it's sometimes referred as a ‘museum city', making it exceptional in whole Uzbekistan. The road from Bukhara to Khiva goes through famous Kizilkum desert. On the way we will enjoy the view to Amu Darya river, the deepest river in Central Asia, formed by the confluence of the Panj and Vakhsh in Tajikistan and then flowing into Aral See. Upon arrival in Khiva you will have free time. Night is in a hotel.
Day 6: Khiva - Tashkent
Today you will have a wonderful sightseeing tour in the oldest city of Uzbekistan. In Khiva there is another inner city - Ichan-Qala. Ancient buildings, palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan-Sarais and Bathhouses transformed Ichan-Qala into unique historical monument. It consists of over 400 traditional dwelling houses and about 60 architectural monuments all surrounded by thik walls. In 1969 Ichan-Qala was proclaimed a historical and architectural conservation area. The most remarkable sites in it are the Kunya-Ark fortress , Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace. In the evening you will have a flight to Tashkent to end your travel. End of tours. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Flight
Transfer to the airport.
